We would like every boater to complete this form, even if you do not need us to haul out your boat. Every boat in the Marina has to be accounted for, and this will help us to keep track of all boats that need to be winterized by the Marina Technicians.

The Boat Doctor guarantees its workmanship, but it is not responsible for vinyl enclosures, plexiglass windshields or windscreens, any equipment mounted on radar arches, hardtops, or pulpits (including but not limited to spotlights, radars, antennas, domes, glomexes, navigational lights, etc.). The Boat Doctor is not responsible for how any items on the boat react to cold weather during the shrink wrap or shrink wrap removal process including but not limited to clear vinyl, zippers, snaps etc. Please be aware of the added risk of cold weather to boats coming out the last two weeks or going in the first two of haul out and launch season. The Boat Doctor does add ventilation to all boats but is not responsible for any issues arising from moisture. The Boat Doctor assumes all boats can withstand all aspects of shrink wrap and the shrink wrap process and is not responsible for any damage to the structures involved with the shrink wrap process including but not limited to railings, stanchions, cleats, etc. The Boat Doctor is not responsible for any damage that may occur when certain items need to be moved or that interfere with the shrink wrap or shrink wrap process including but not limited to dinghies, kayaks, jet skis, aqua mats, lily pads, etc. The Boat Doctor is not responsible for any issues arising from shrink wrap or the shrink wrap process and the various surfaces of the boat including but not limited to gelcoat, awl grip paint, stainless steel, woodwork, plastic, etc.

Owner Representation of Vessel Condition
Owner represents and warrants that the Vessel is structurally sound and capable of withstanding lifting, blocking, launching, hauling, bottom washing, and/or movement by travel lift, hydraulic trailer, yard trailer, power washer, or other equipment utilized by Sunnyside Marina.
Owner acknowledges that lifting and moving a vessel places stress on the Vessel and its structural components. Owner further acknowledges that the Vessel has been inspected by Owner prior to lifting and that it is fit and suitable for lifting and transport.
Owner also acknowledges that bottom washing may include the use of high-pressure water and/or approved cleaning or acid-based solutions to remove marine growth and staining. Owner understands that such processes may expose or reveal pre-existing cosmetic or structural defects.
Owner further acknowledges that inflatable vessels, soft-sided vessels, and vessels incorporating rubber, PVC, Hypalon, vinyl, or similar flexible materials are particularly susceptible to cosmetic marking, surface abrasion, discoloration, or finish changes when subjected to pressure washing or cleaning solutions. Owner assumes the risk of cosmetic changes to such materials resulting from standard bottom washing procedures.
Sunnyside Marina relies upon Owner's representations regarding the Vessel's condition.
Sunnyside Marina shall not be responsible for damage resulting from:
Owner assumes all risk of loss or damage arising from the Vessel's condition, coatings, soft materials, or ability to safely withstand lifting, washing, or transport.
Marina Responsibility
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to release Sunnyside Marina from responsibility for damage directly caused by its failure to exercise reasonable care in the operation of its equipment, cleaning process, or personnel.
If, in the sole judgment of Sunnyside Marina personnel, a Vessel appears unsafe to lift, move, or wash, Sunnyside Marina reserves the right to refuse service until appropriate repairs or reinforcements are made.
